Delete Your Mustr Account

Request deletion of your Mustr account and its associated data. Mustr is published by Product Craft LLC (d/b/a Mustr).

Before you start

Deleting your account cannot be undone. You will lose access to the groups you organize, your player rosters, and your event history. To use Mustr again you would need to create a new account and rebuild your groups.

If you purchased anything through Google Play, deleting your Mustr account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in the Google Play subscriptions page. (Mustr is free to use, and one-time support contributions do not renew, so most accounts have nothing to cancel.)

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

In the Mustr app

  1. Open Mustr and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account is deleted right away, with no waiting period.

Option 2: Request deletion from this page

If you can no longer sign in or no longer have the app installed, submit a request below. The form opens a prefilled email addressed to our privacy team.

To protect your account, send your request from this address. We cannot process a request that arrives from a different address.

If your email app does not open, email [email protected] from your account address with the subject “Mustr account deletion request.”

What happens after you submit a request

  1. We confirm the request came from the email address on the account.
  2. We acknowledge your request within 1–2 business days.
  3. We delete the account and complete the request within 30 days.
  4. You receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.

What is deleted and what is kept

Whether you delete your account in the app or request it here, the same thing happens to your data.

Data What happens to it
Your name and email address Permanently erased from our database and replaced with anonymous placeholder values. They cannot be recovered.
Your password Permanently erased.
Sign-in, email verification, and password reset tokens Permanently erased. Your account can no longer be signed into or recovered.
Push notification tokens Removed. Your devices stop receiving notifications from Mustr.
Groups you organize Deactivated. No further invitations, reminders, or emails are sent to their members.
Groups where you were a co-organizer You are removed from the co-organizer list. The group itself continues to belong to its own organizer.
Past events and RSVP history Retained without your name or email attached, so records stay consistent for the other organizers and players who took part.
Analytics and crash reports Your identifier is disconnected from the account. Remaining data is aggregated and no longer identifies you.
Encrypted backups and server logs Rotate out on our normal retention cycle, typically within 30 days of deletion.
Records we are legally required to keep Retained only where a law, tax rule, or unresolved dispute requires it, and only for as long as that obligation lasts.

Emails already delivered to other people, such as an invitation you sent before deleting your account, remain in their inboxes and are outside our control.

For the full picture of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Other privacy requests

You can also ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct it, without deleting your account. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
